Takes unbuffered and registered modules. The two types cannot be mixed. 144GB (18x 8GB) achieved using Registered modules only. 24GB (12x 2GB) maximum when using Unbuffered-ECC modules. Memory may run at lower speeds due to chipset population rules when fully populated.
